Peru is the third largest country in Latin America and one of the richest in natural and cultural diversity. In its territory we have three clearly defined geographical regions: the coast bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean the deepest of the earth. This region is crossed by numerous rivers that form fertile valleys where the main cities of the Peru are located.
The second natural region is the highland region, Formed by a complex chain of mountains, deep canyons, high plateaus that form the second mountainous chain of the World. This geography makes possible the formation of immense and impressive landscapes of the highland where the highest navigable lake of the World is, LakeTiti Caca. The Huascarán rises in the White Mountain chain with its 6768 meters; it is the highest mountain of Peru. Finally we have the Amazon region to the east of the country, this region is composed by two defined areas as they are the high forest, covered with immense virgin forests and of uneven vegetation, and the low forest of flat relief in which images of rivers like the Amazon are drawn, this river is the mighty of the world; the Amazon river has also its origin in the thaw of the mountains of Peru. This river possesses a great quantity of unique species in what refers to flora, mammals, reptiles and wild birds.
