ITINERARY

Duration: 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

HAVANA (subject to flight)
Day 1
- Flight Miami International Airport, Miami, Florida, US to Jose Marti International Airport, Havana, Cuba. After immigration and customs clearance you will first meet your professional tour guide and driver.
- Transfer to accommodation in Havana and check-in
- Welcome briefing meeting
- Dinner at “EL Aljibe” restaurant


HAVANA

Day 2

- Visit to the Rum Museum, a replica of the production process of the Cuban rum from a sugar cane by-product. Explanation of the rum production and aging process and rum tasting.
- Walk tour through Old Havana Historical Center declared world heritage site by UNESCO in 1982. Includes visits to popular squares: Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Catedral. Visit to restaurant “Bodeguita del Medio”, emblematic restaurant symbol of the city and one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite places in Havana for its delicious mojitos.
- Lunch at a local restaurant or paladar (private restaurant)
- Visit to Almacenes San Jose Artisans’ Market. Local artists’ exhibition and shop for souvenirs, paintings, sculptures, etc. Back to Hotel.
- Dinner at Sloppy Joe’s. Considered together with El Floridita and BdM one of the most famous bars in the world between the 30’s and the 50’s, also frequently visited by Ernest Hemingway, movie stars and baseball heroes of the time.
- Night on your own. Tour leader will be happy to recommend optional activities. (Floridita)


Partagas Tabacco Factory

HAVANA

Day 3

- Guided visit to Real Fabrica de Tabacos Partagas (Factory and Museum). The world’s famous Habanos cigars are produced in this factory.
- Walk tour through Old Havana Historical Center declared world heritage site by UNESCO in 1982. Includes visits to popular squares: Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Catedral. Visit to restaurant “Bodeguita del Medio”, emblematic restaurant symbol of the city and one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite places in Havana for its delicious mojitos.

VINALES VALLEY | PINAR DEL RIO
Day 4

- Road Journey: Drive west to Pinar del Rio Province and its capital city. Visit to “Francisco Donatien” cigar factory (located inside a colonial house) and the “Guayabita del Pinar” Factory, where a spirit is produced from an endemic type of guava of the local mountains.
- Drive 30 minutes to explore the Viñales Valley, an area declared a World Cultural Landscape by UNESCO. Excursion includes: Boat ride at “Cueva del Indio”, Palenque de los Cimarrones and Mural de la Prehistoria.
- Lunch at “Mural de la Prehistoria” where you will enjoy the best Pina Colada of western Cuba.
- Visit a “Casa del Veguero”, a tobacco farmer's house where you will learn more about tobacco growing and the drying process.
- Return to Hotel in Havana.
- Night on your own. Tour leader will be happy to recommend optional activities.

Havana National Theater
HAVANA
Day 5

- Classic car tour of modern Havana. Your classic car tour will first take you along the Malecon, Havana's seaside promenade stretching for more than 10km between the city and the sea. Although its beautiful buildings have been relentlessly affected by the sea breezes, the drive is still a popular place for festive parades, car rallies and evening walks. Drive past the exclusive neighborhood of Miramar with its private mansions and embassies and the Christopher Columbus Cemetery to reach Revolution Square, surrounded by the headquarters of the Cuban Revolutionary Forces, the Communist Party Central Committee and several ministries. Take a short stroll around and see the national hero Jose Marti's marble statue before returning to the center, past the university of Havana and the park adjacent to the Capitolio building.
- Lunch at El Floridita and then expent part of the afternoon interacting with the bartenders while listening stories and learning about the place and its history.
- Group gather at Fabrica de Arte Cubana or similar place to exchange opinions and experiences obtained during the trip as well as to interact with local art lovers and Cuban people in general.

- Breakfast at the hotel

- Transfer to Jose Marti International Airport
